Space Match III has no accounts, no ads and no third-party trackers, and it sets no cookies. Your progress stays in your own browser. To make the levels better, the game sends anonymous play statistics to our server. This page says what they are and how to stop them.

What the game sends

Who we are

Space Match III is made by Andrew Zaitsev-Zotov, a private person, who decides what is collected and why (the data controller). Contact: [email protected].

Why

We use it to tune difficulty: which levels are too hard or too easy, where players get stuck, and what makes them come back or stop. It also makes the Daily Challenge leaderboard, which everyone can see: there you show only as the call sign you pick from the game's words (such as "Clever Rocket"; until you pick one, "Pilot 7F3A", made from your player id) and the flag of your country. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the game (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is kept

On our own server in the EU (Hetzner, Finland), behind Cloudflare. Like every website, the server also keeps standard access logs: internet address, browser and the pages requested. These logs are deleted after 14 days. We keep the play statistics while they help us design the game, and we delete them sooner if you ask.

Your choices

Your player id: none yet (you have not played on this browser)

Children

The game is for everyone. It asks no one for a name, email or age, and the statistics above are the same for every player.

Changes

If this changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
